Mother's Day

I got the sweetest things from the kids this year. Cayden made me a beautiful card, Kate made a special handprint card and all the boys made me trivets. Cayden also got me a little rooster for the kitchen. Love my babies!

Pioneer Days

Cayden's class had their last field trip of the year, we visited Pioneer Days. We learned about making soap, butter, knitting, sewing, photography, the military, guns, cannons, Civil War, Indian's etc.. it was very interesting. Very good for teaching children and adults about history a fun hands on experience lots of reenactments and costumes all around us.

One of Cayden's favorite things he learned was the difference between a 1860's baseball and a present day baseball. His other favorite thing was learning about the Boston Tea Party and the kind of tea they had back then.

The Art Show

The Spring Program also features the kids artwork and is a time for family pictures. Nana and a few of the other preschool teachers decorated the gym to look like a farm! It turned out so so cute! The kids and families loved it!
Outside of Kate's classroom!

Showing off her artwork the clown she painted and the red wildflowers, she did such a good job!

The duck pond, she made a duck too!

The whole gang under the apple trees! She was so proud to show off to her boys everything at her school!

Her favorite thing, the horse corral.

The farmers garden, the corn crop!

Stopping to smell the farms flowers!

A basketball goal that couldn't be removed from the gym so Nana disguised it as a tree with birds some of the preschoolers made so creative!

Kate with her teacher Nana of course!

All of us!
(this will remind me to never wear this dress again I look like a circus tent! Geez...)
